About Dr. Han
Stella I. Han, M.D. received her fellowship training in pediatric and neuro-ophthalmology
at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C, after completing
her residency in ophthalmology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York. She
received her medical degree from New York University, and her Bachelor of
Arts from Princeton University.
Dr. Han is Board Certified in Ophthalmology, and is a fellow of the American
Academy of Ophthalmology, as well as a full member of the American
Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
Dr. Han is on the medical staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital,
Saint Peter’s University Hospital, and the Medical Center of Princeton. She
is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Departments of Ophthalmology and
Pediatrics at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Prior to moving to central New Jersey, Dr. Han was in private practice for
several years at the Rhode Island Eye Institute in Providence, Rhode Island.
She served as an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at Brown
University, where she taught pediatric ophthalmology to the ophthalmology
residents-in-training.
In her leisure time, Dr. Han enjoys playing the piano. A graduate of the
Juilliard School of Music, she has given numerous performances as a solo
artist and has played concertos with orchestras.
Dr. Han and her husband Dr. Aloysius Rho are the proud parents of baby boy
Jackson, who was born in August 2001 and baby girl Allison, born in December
2002.
