Cataracts

Cataracts are the clouding of the eye's natural lens. Though uncommon in children, cataracts which are large enough to obscure vision need to be removed promptly so that vision can develop as normally as possible. Our practice is at the forefront of pediatric cataract surgery with the most advanced techniques, which include using foldable intraocular lenses when appropriate which results in better vision and less chance of complications than older techniques.
