If your child has started complaining that they can’t see the board at school, it’s important to pay attention—but there’s no need to panic. The first thing to consider is how long this has been going on.
If your child has mentioned trouble seeing the board for a few weeks or even a couple of months, it’s often a sign that they may simply need glasses. In that case, you can move them closer to the front of the classroom temporarily and schedule an eye exam with our office to find out for sure.
However, if the change in vision seems sudden—for example, if your child went from seeing clearly one day to having trouble the next—it’s best to act right away. You can either contact your pediatrician first or call our office directly. Our team will ensure your child is seen promptly to identify the cause and begin treatment if needed.
Whether it’s time for their first pair of glasses or something more urgent, early evaluation is key to keeping your child’s eyes healthy and their learning on track.
